Tour Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival Delhi: On arrival, welcome and assistance at the airport by our representative. Transfer to your hotel situated in the heart of Delhi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - Delhi – Mandawa 260 km/5 hr: Drive to Mandawa, a beautiful Rajasthan countryside. Check into Mandawa Castle. Dinner and overnight at the Fort.

Day 03 - Mandawa – Bikaner 190 km in 5 hr: Check out after breakfast and proceed for Bikaner. Morning visit the town of Mandawa which lies in the heart of Shekhawati. A painted arched gateway with lord Krishna and his cows adorns the entrance that leads to the bazaar. Look up at the beautiful Shekhawati temples and wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate frescoes.
Reach Bikaner and check into BHAIRON VILAS – A Heritage Hotel. The foundation stone of Bhairon Vilas was laid in the year 1872. This Haveli was the personal residence of Maharaj Bhairon Singh Ji. This property is not only named after him but also because of the statue of God Bhairon.

Day 04 - Bikaner – Roopangarh 330km in 7hr: After breakfast drive to Roopangarh. Built in Ad 1648 and called after himself, the town and fort of Roopangarh was constructed by Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh for defence purpose. Originally a nine turreted fort, it has been built over and Added on by several generations. The different styles in architecture can still be seen in the structure Today, sensitively restored by the present Maharaja, the castle retains the sense of antiquity so delicately portrayed in the KISHANGARH miniatures. Its rooms still resound with the echoes of a call to arms, the firm bold step of the warrior, the softer footfall, the whisper of silks. of romance and intrigue in the zenana. Explore the ruins, the underground passages, the ateliers of the artists. Get to know the countryside, the people, their crafts, their music. The miniatures of KISHANGARH have acquired worldwide acclaim, but the land that inspired them awaits discovery

Day 05 - Roopangarh – Pushkar 60km in 1hr: Check out after breakfast and proceed for Kishangarh. KISHANGARH is situated on the National Highway 8 in the Center of Rajasthan, 100 Km South West of Jaipur. It is primarily known for its world famous Miniature Paintings and Handicrafts and for the largest marble and granite cutting industry in the Country. Visit the Kishangarh Fort. The Palace has lovely views of centuries old "Gundalao Lake" - where herons fly and peacocks strut in fanned delight. The lake water beneath the graceful Palace is a paradise to flamingoes, pelicans, wild duck and the SARUS CRANE.
Proceed to Pushkar. Reach Pushkar by noon and relax. Check in at PUSHKAR RESORTS.

PUSHKAR
Amongst the grandeur of Rajasthan, discover a unique gem - Pushkar. Lord Brahma - The creator of the world in a search for his abode on earth, performed the supremely spiritual VEDIC YAGNA at Pushkar. It is thus the site of the only Brahma Temple in the world. Blessed with cultural blends, it is the venue for the famous Pushkar Fair, with people coming from all over Asia to buy and sell cattle of breeds from across the world. The consecrated mausoleum of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti at Ajmer attracts pilgrims from all over the world. A city of Pilgrimage from time immemorial with over 500 temples and Ghats Pushkar begets a legacy of timeless architectural heritage. Pushkar radiates an ambience of peace and spirituality that casts a lure to visit again and again. The Pushkar fair is amongst the largest cattle fairs in the world and amongst the oldest cities in India, with references in mythology and the Mahabharat. There are 52 bathing Ghats, which are linked to the lunar calendar, enclose the lake. Each Ghat has its own miraculous qualities and powers of healing and this city of temples has over 500 temples built over different eras with varied architectural styles. The rose garden of Rajasthan - the essence of the famous Pushkar rose is exported the world over. Pushkar has the most varied terrain in Rajasthan with sand, rock, hills, and proximity to a number of heritage properties in the area and a number of fairs and festivals - especially on the new and full moon days. Day 06 - Pushkar – Jaipur 140km in 2hr: Drive to Jaipur, after breakfast. En route visits of the mausoleum, Anasagar and Akbar's Palace at Pushkar.

Shopping and then proceed approx. 20 km from the city for a memorable evening at the CHOKI DANI VILLAGE COMPLEX with Rajasthani sit down dinner. Leave for hotel, reach and overnight at the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 07 - Jaipur: The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. In-spite of growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains it's character and history.... A beautiful fusion of the yester years and modernity. Popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the royal consort of Queen Victoria. Jaipur thrills the soul with its massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples and lush gardens.
AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. It's forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression.
CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Its five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 - Jaipur – Agra 241km / 6hr: Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri en-route. The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition... it's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.
Continue your drive to Agra and on arrival check-in at HOWARD PARK PLAZA. Free to explore city in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 - Agra – Varanasi - By train at 2100 hrs: After early breakfast visit the Agra Fort. Visit the TAJ MAHAL – one of the Seven Wonders of the World was built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed in 1651AD. Taj Mahal – The symbol of Love was built in the memory of Mumtaz Mahal (Shah Jahan's second Wife).
AGRA FORT - Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction.
Relax in the evening and then transfer to station for train to Varanasi. Overnight in Train.

Day 10 - Varanasi: Upon arrival at Varanasi in the early morning, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Check in at HOTEL BEST WESTERN KASHIKA – the newly refurbished modern hotel complete with a pool and all amenities. Breakfast at hotel.

NEW MARKETS, COMMERCIAL COMPLEXES AND MODERN HOTELS MAKE IT A MELTING POT OF BOTH. THE RELIGIOUS CAPITAL OF HINDUISM, VARANASI IS THE CARPET MANUFACTURING PLACE OF INDIA. IT WAS PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS KASHI – THE CITY THAT ILLUMINATES. THE PRESENT NAME IS DERIVED FROM THE FACT THAT THE CITY IS AT THE CONFLUENCE OF THE RIVERS VARUNA AND ASI. AT A DISTANCE OF 12 KM FROM VARANASI IS SARNATH WHERE LORD BUDDHA PREACHED HIS FIRST SERMON AFTER ENLIGHTENMENT. HERE HE REVEALED THE EIGHT-FOLD PATH TO NIRVANA.
Visit Sarnath 5 miles out of Varanasi one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 BC. Here you will witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine Museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site.
Proceed for half-day guided tour of Varanasi including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Benaras Hindu University and other important monuments in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 - Varanasi: Morning drive to Dashwamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions. (To start at 0500 hrs. for the best lifetime experience) For you to appreciate this remarkable city, we’ll transfer you to the banks of the River Ganges before the sun rises.
Board a boat with your guide and proceed to the middle of the river, where at sunrise the sight unfolds before you. Thousands of faithful come daily to the banks to bathe and pray while in the background, temples and palaces rise in tiers from the water edge. Return to the shores for a walk through the cobble stone streets along the banks of "Ganges". As shops are opening, the place now becomes a beehive of activity as the faithful are coming and going.
Return for breakfast to the hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 - Varanasi – Katmandu: Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Katmandu.
Reach Katmandu. The Katmandu Valley, the political, commercial and cultural hub of Nepal, is the first for the majority of visitors to Nepal. Once a separate kingdom in itself, it contains three fabled cities – Katmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Each is an artistic exposition of graceful temples, elegant palaces, brick paved courtyards and quaint streets. There are seven UNESCO World Heritage sites in the valley.
Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 - Katmandu: Breakfast at hotel. Full day sightseeing of Katmandu including Patan and Durbar Square.
Evening at leisure. Gala dinner on the event of Christmas Eve at the hotel.

Day 14 - Katmandu – Nagarkot 60 km / 1 hr: Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Nagarkot. Check in at the hotel. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Himalayas. Walk through the villages and spend time at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 15 - Nagarkot – Katmandu 60 km / 1 hr - Katmandu – Delhi: Leave after breakfast and proceed to Katmandu.
Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Reach Delhi and transfer to hotel for the night. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16 - DELHI: DELHI, the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. A perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to the kaleidoscope - that is India. Full day tour of Old & New Delhi.
OLD DELHI - A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire.
Cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.
NEW DELHI - An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President’s Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
View Dances of India Show in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17 - Delhi - Departure Breakfast at hotel.
Full day will be at leisure. Farewell evening dinner at Delhi and transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
