Day 01 - Arrive Chennai and transfer to Mahabalipuram: Arrive in Madras and transfer to a beach resort in historic town of Mahabalipuram, for 02 nights. Reminder of the day is at leisure with optional sightseeing of Madras (Chennai) city in the afternoon.

Day 02 - Mahabalipuram: In the morning we enjoy a tour of Mahabalipuram, noted for its rock carvings and the shore temple. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 03 - Swami Malai: Drive to Swami Malai visiting the serene temples at Gangaikondacholapuram and Dharasuram. Stay at the well run Sterling Resort, for the night.

Day 04 - To Mysore: Morning at leisure. One can visit the nearby temple and craftsmen in the bronze making units. In the afternoon drive to Tanjore to see the beautiful Brihadeeshawara Temple before boarding the Mysore Exp. for a characteristically Indian experience. Overnight in air-conditioned sleeper carriage.

Day 05 - Mysore: Arrive into Mysore in the morning and transfer to the Hotel for two nights. This afternoon we visit the Mysore Palace and enjoy a drive up Chamundi Hill to see the temple and the statue of Nandi Bull. Later we visit the colorful Devaraja fruit and vegetable market.

Day 06 - Mysore: This morning we visit Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace at Srirangapattanam and the Ranganathitoo Bird Sanctuary. In the afternoon we drive to Somnathpuram to see the beautifully carved Hoysala temple.

Day 07 - Coorg: We drive to Coorg today visiting the Tibetan settlement at Bylguppe en-route. On arrival we check into the delightful Orange county Resort or the Hoysala Village Resort, in the midst of a coffee plantation, for 03 nights. The reminder of the day is at leisure.

Day 08 - Coorg: A walk through the plantation is arranged for today with a picnic lunch beside the Cauvery River. There is a option for a spot of angling.

Day 09 - Calicut: An interesting drive across the western Ghats brings us to Calicut where we stay the night at the hotel. On the way we visit a local " hookah" making unit.

Day 10 - Cochin: Today we drive to the port city of Cochin visiting Beypore where sea-faring vessels called "Uru" or "Dhows" are hand made. We also visit the elephant stables as Guruvayoor. In the evening enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise on the backwaters to see the Chinese fishing nets.

Day 11 - Cochin: The morning sightseeing tour includes the Dutch Palace, a walk through the spice trading centers at Mattancherry to visit the Jewish Synagogue, and St. Francis' Church. In the evening witness Kathakali, the ancient dance-drama of Kerala.

Day 12 - Kumarakom: Drive to Kumarakom and stay here in a deluxe hotel. The afternoon is free to relax by the pool, take an Ayurvedic massage or explore the nearby bird Sanctuary.

Day 13 - Riceboat: Late morning board a riceboat for the night. The afternoon is spent cruising along the backwaters and observing village life along the banks. The accommodation is simple but comfortable, with modern en suite facilities.

Day 14 - Kovalam: After breakfast disembark at Thottapally and transfer to Kovalam for a night's stay at one of the beach resort hotels. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 15 - Leave Kolalam: In the morning transfer to the Trivandrum airport to board flight to onward destination.
