Rhino Trail
Kaziranga is a 430 square kilometre park, consisting of broad tracts of tall elephant grass interspersed with evergreen forests, shallow lakes and reedbeds. It is probably the best place on Earth to observe the very rare
Great Indian One-horned Rhinoceros and it is possible to encounter as many as forty of these prehistoriclooking beasts during a day in the field. The area was first given protection as a forest reserve in the early years of the twentieth century, but it was not opened to visitors until 1938, and it was not until 1954 that the Great Indian One-horned Rhinoceros
was given complete statutory protection, allowing Kaziranga to become the most important – and one of the final – refuges for this endangered mammal. In 1974 the wildlife sanctuary was given national park status, and today there are over 1,100 rhinos in the park, a figure which represents over 70% of the world population.

Day 05 - Kaziranga National Park / Guwahati / Calcutta / Nagpur: Morning transfer to Guwahati airport to board flight to Calcutta, 9W 207 Lv. 1150 hrs. Arr. 1350 hrs. Connect flight to Nagpur CD 7272 Lv. 1800 hrs. Arr. 1930 hrs. On arrival transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06- Nagpur / Kanha National Park- 4 hrs.: Drive. Transfer, On arrival check in Jungle resort. Afternoon Game inside park. Overnight stay at Resort.
Day 07- Kanha National Park: AM & PM Game viewing by Jeeps inside park. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 08- Thu- Kanha National Park / Bandhavgarh National Park: AM Jungle Safari by Jeeps. Noon transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival transfer to Jungle resort for overnight stay.
Day 09- Bandhavgarh National Park: Morning & afternoon Jungle Safaris by Jeep inside National park. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 10- Bandhavgarh National Park / Khajuraho: Morning Park Safari & noon transfer to Khajuraho. Overnight stay at Hotel.
